The pen only works when connected to power

Problem / symptom

If a battery powered C-Pen has been left uncharged for too long time (please refer to Battery maintenance) the battery may get damaged.

One symptom of this is that the C-Pen only powers up when connected to a power source - and then normally show 100% charge level. When disconnected from the power source, the C-Pen does however turn off.

Possible solution

Use a USB charger capable of supplying at least 2A through a single USB port.

  • Connect the C-Pen to the USB charger for at least one (1) hour.

This procedure may revive the battery and allow it to be properly charged.
