Clean C-Pen Core user/settings files (Windows)

Modified on Thu, 20 May, 2021 at 11:21 AM

If C-Pen Core fails to start properly, it may be solved by erasing C-Pen Core settings files.

  1. Make sure C-Pen Core is NOT running.
  2. Open File Manager and navigate to C:\Users\[your-user-name]\AppData\Roaming\
    • Erase subfolders Virrata AB and C Technologies.
  3. Navigate to C:\Users\[your-user-name]\AppData\Local\C_Technologies\
    • Erase subfolder CPenCoreApp*

The folder AppData is a hidden folder.
Check this article for information how to make hidden folder visible.
